Holosun IRIS-RD1 Features and Performance
The Holosun IRIS-RD1 is a compact red laser sight built for rifle and carbine setups that need a visible aiming laser without unnecessary bulk. Its 635nm Class 3R red laser provides a clearly defined aiming point with output under 5mW for rapid target alignment.
The redesigned IRIS-RD1 housing is lighter and lower profile than earlier LS117-style modules, making it easier to fit into modern rail layouts. Top-mounted fire button controls support momentary or constant-on activation, while the rear-facing selector keeps power and operating modes easy to reach.
A Crane-plug compatible remote pressure switch is included for flexible weapon-mounted activation. The single AA battery keeps field maintenance simple, and the front battery cap allows quick replacement when needed.
For zeroing, the IRIS-RD1 uses precision windage and elevation adjustments with 0.5 MOA clicks and plus/minus 50 MOA travel. The 7075-T6 aluminum housing, anodized black finish, IPX8 waterproof rating, and 1000G vibration resistance make it a rugged choice for hard-use rifle setups.
