Are DI sights the same as fiber-only sights?

No. DI sights combine fiber optics with tritium. Conventional Trijicon fiber optic sights rely on ambient light and should not be treated as self-illuminating night sights. A bright fiber in daylight does not, by itself, provide illumination in darkness.

Does an orange front outline mean an orange tritium lamp?
