RMR Type 2: Compact Size and a Choice of Controls

Trijicon RMR Type 2 sights use a single illuminated dot. Adjustable LED versions offer automatic brightness and manual controls; Automatic LED versions adjust brightness without side buttons. RMR HD: A Larger Window and Selectable Circle-Dot Reticle

The Trijicon RMR HD adds a larger window than the standard RMR, a top-loading battery, and a forward-looking light sensor for automatic brightness. It remains an open-emitter design. Choose a 1 MOA RMR HD or a 3.25 MOA RMR HD; each offers its center dot alone or with a 55 MOA segmented circle. The center-dot size is fixed by the model, not changed by selecting a different reticle mode.

SRO: A Broad, Rounded Viewing Window

Trijicon SRO sights emphasize a large viewing window for target shooting and competition. Red-dot versions offer 1, 2.5, or 5 MOA dots, automatic and manual brightness, and a top-loading CR2032 battery. The 2.5 MOA SRO in black is the middle dot-size option. MRO SD and MRO HD: Rifle Optics with Different Reticles

The Trijicon MRO family uses enclosed housings and top-mounted brightness dials. Both the MRO SD and MRO HD have 1x magnification and 25 mm objective lenses. The SD offers a single 2 MOA dot in red or green. The HD offers a red 2 MOA dot alone or with a 68 MOA segmented circle.

The full co-witness MRO SD package and corresponding MRO HD package offer these reticles at the same mounting height. MRO SD Patrol models add lens covers and an anti-reflection device, while magnifier combos include a separate 3x optic. Patrol and magnifier designations describe different package features.

• Dot size: MOA describes angular size, not magnification. A lower number identifies a finer dot; a higher number identifies a larger dot.
• Reticle color and finish: Illumination options include red, green, and amber. Housing finishes include black, coyote brown, gray, and Flat Dark Earth. One does not determine the other.
• Battery access: Top-loading compartments offer access without removing the optic. RMR Type 2 and RMRcc batteries sit underneath the sight.
