Description
Holosun IRIS-RD2 Features and Performance
The Holosun IRIS-RD2 combines a visible red laser and an infrared aiming laser in one compact rifle-mounted module. The 635nm Class 3R red laser provides a crisp visible aiming point for daylight use, while the 800-880nm Class 1 IR laser supports night-vision-compatible aiming.
Co-aligned laser zeroing helps simplify setup by allowing the visible and IR lasers to track together. That makes daylight zeroing easier while preserving a useful night vision aiming reference for low-light or no-light use.
The redesigned housing is lighter and lower profile than older LS221-style modules, improving ergonomics on modern rifle setups. A center-position activation button supports momentary or constant-on operation, while the rear mode selector gives quick access to laser modes.
The IRIS-RD2 runs on a single CR123A battery and includes a Crane-plug compatible remote pressure switch. Its 7075-T6 aluminum housing, anodized black finish, IPX8 waterproof rating, and 1000G vibration resistance support dependable use in demanding environments.
